Toilet Repair & Installation.
About This Service
Running toilets, base leaks, flange resets, and full replacements. Flat-rate pricing for any internal rebuild, seal repair, or full toilet swap.
Toilet work splits cleanly into three categories. Internal repairs — fill valves, flush valves, flappers, supply lines, handles — fix the running, weak-flush, or won't-stop-filling complaints. Seal repairs — wax ring replacement, flange repair or replacement, base re-seal — fix water leaking at the floor and the smell that comes with it. Full replacement is the right call when the bowl or tank itself is cracked, when you're upgrading to a higher-efficiency model, or when the flange has rusted past the point of holding a bolt. Same flat-rate pricing for any of them — no per-hour creep.
A running toilet is rarely a single component. The most common failure pattern: a flapper degrades and starts leaking water through the flush valve seat, which causes the fill valve to cycle on and off intermittently. Replacing only the flapper sometimes works for 6-12 months; replacing the full flush mechanism (flapper + flush valve seal + fill valve + supply line) is usually the right call once one component has gone, because the others are typically the same age and headed for the same failure. We diagnose what's actually failing before we replace anything, so you're not paying for parts that didn't need replacing.
For full replacements, we can spec and supply a unit matched to your rough-in dimension and water pressure — usually a Toto Drake, Kohler Highline, or American Standard Champion depending on preference — at our cost plus a flat install fee. Or you supply your own from any retailer and we install at the standard install rate. Most homeowners come out ahead supplying their own toilet on entry-level units; for premium fixtures the installed-from-us price is often comparable to retail-plus-install elsewhere.

Step by Step
How It Works
Diagnose
A running toilet might be the fill valve, the flapper, the chain length, or the flush valve — sometimes all four. We figure out which before we replace anything.
Internal Rebuild or Replace
If internals are the issue and the bowl is sound, we rebuild with manufacturer-spec parts. If porcelain is cracked or you're upgrading, full replacement.
Reset on the Flange
New wax ring (or wax-free urethane on second-floor installs), confirm flange height, bolt down to manufacturer torque spec.
Test & Verify
Full flush testing, leak check at supply connection, leak check at the base, water level verification. Won't leave until 5 clean cycles with zero drip or rocking.
