Hot & Cold Water Repiping.
About This Service
Complete systemic overhauls. We modernize aging residential and commercial water grids with advanced PEX and copper materials, restoring optimal pressure and eliminating chronic leaks.
A whole-house repipe is the right call when your supply infrastructure has aged out — pinhole leaks appearing behind drywall, pressure dropping to 40 PSI at the showerhead, rust-tinged hot water, or galvanized pipe showing its age. Rather than repairing individual failures that will keep reappearing, a full repipe replaces every hot and cold supply line in the house and resets the clock for another 50+ years of reliable service. The most common trigger in South Bay homes: pre-1970 construction still on original galvanized supply, which corrodes from the outside in and eventually loses most of its interior diameter.

What a repipe actually finds
- 1¼-inch copper
- Heavy verdigris
- Crawl-space leak
These 1¼-inch copper main lines came out of a recent South Bay home. Decades of corrosion ate through the pipe wall until it sprung a leak in the crawl space — well past the point of patching, so we replaced the entire run.
PEX versus copper is the biggest decision. PEX-A (expanded polyethylene with cold expansion fittings) is our default for most interior repipes — flexible, freeze-tolerant, quiet, and faster to install than copper. Type-L copper is our recommendation for coastal exposure (Naples, Belmont Shore, Lunada Bay, South Redondo) where salt-air chloride degrades brass fittings used in PEX-B, and for high-temperature applications. We specifically avoid PEX-B in coastal homes because the brass fittings don't hold up as well as the PEX-A cold-expansion system in heavy chloride environments. The cost difference between the options is small; the longevity difference in the right application is real.
A properly executed repipe keeps drywall and plaster cuts to a minimum. We route new supply through attic space, wall cavities, and under flooring with strategic small access cuts at fixture locations — typically 6–10 cuts total rather than opening every wall. We pressure-test all new lines before patching, coordinate drywall repair and paint matching with you or your contractor, and typically keep at least one bathroom and the kitchen functional throughout the job. Two to three days is the usual residential timeline; larger homes or whole-house repipes combined with major remodels may run longer.

Step by Step
How It Works
Whole-System Assessment
We inspect your existing water supply lines, identify problem areas, and design a complete repiping plan with minimal wall intrusion.
Material Selection
We recommend the optimal material — PEX for flexibility and longevity, copper for premium performance — based on your property and budget.
Full Repipe Execution
Our crew executes the full repipe systematically, minimizing disruption to your household while completing work efficiently.
Pressure Testing & Wall Restoration
All new lines are pressure-tested to confirm leak-free performance. Patching and restoration work is coordinated to return your home to normal.
The Difference
Traditional vs. Property-Friendly
- Destructive excavation of your property
- Days or weeks of disruption
- Expensive landscape restoration
