Trenchless Pipe Bursting — Special Pricing
Full sewer line replacement without digging up your yard.
About This Service
We replace collapsed lines by seamlessly pulling a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe through the existing cavity, eliminating the need for destructive trenching.
Pipe bursting is the only trenchless method that actually replaces your sewer line. A hydraulic bursting head is pulled through the existing pipe on a steel cable, fracturing the old pipe outward into the surrounding soil while simultaneously pulling a new HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipe into the same path. The result is a brand-new, fully fused, jointless pipe with a 50+ year expected service life — installed in a single day through two small access pits.

A real Mainline pipe bursting job in the South Bay — new HDPE line being pulled through the failed clay original.
We recommend pipe bursting when the host pipe is past the point of lining. Collapsed sections, severely offset joints, undersized original lines (many pre-1970 South Bay homes have 4-inch clay laterals that benefit from an upsize to 6-inch), and lines destroyed by decades of root intrusion are all prime pipe bursting candidates. Because HDPE is fusion-welded into a continuous length before installation, there are no joints for roots to exploit — the new line is effectively root-proof for its entire lifespan.
A typical residential pipe bursting job runs one day from start to finish, assuming permits are already pulled. We excavate two access pits — usually about 4' × 4', one at the house cleanout and one near the city main at the curb — and the HDPE is pulled through the existing pipe path between them. Your lawn, driveway, mature trees, walkways, and hardscape stay completely intact. A final camera pass confirms full flow, the access pits are backfilled, and you're done.

Step by Step
How It Works
Video Inspection
We deploy a high-definition camera to assess the full extent of pipe damage before any work begins.
Access Point Excavation
Two small access pits are dug — one at each end of the damaged line. No lawn destruction, no concrete demolition.
HDPE Pipe Pull-Through
A hydraulic bursting head fractures the old pipe outward while simultaneously pulling the new HDPE line into place.
Verification & Restoration
A final camera pass confirms full flow capacity. Access pits are backfilled and the surface is restored.
