General Plumbing Services.

General plumbing is the catch-all category for everything that doesn't fit neatly into trenchless, water heaters, commercial, or emergency response. Fixture replacements — faucets, toilets, sinks, garbage disposals, shower valves. Leak repairs at specific joints or valves. Plumbing extensions for remodels or additions. Fixture upgrades when you're redoing a bathroom or kitchen. Rough-in work for contractors and remodelers. Pretty much anything a South Bay homeowner or small commercial property needs that doesn't require our specialty trenchless, tankless, or commercial equipment.

What you can expect at a general service call: a licensed C-36 technician arriving in a stocked service truck within the quoted window (most South Bay service calls run a 60-minute arrival window rather than "sometime between 8 and noon"). On-site diagnosis before we give you a number. A flat-rate quote before work starts — not an hourly trap where the clock runs while we figure it out. Premium fixtures and fittings as standard, or your choice of specific brands if you have a preference. Cleanup of the workspace and a walkthrough of what we did before we leave. No mystery line items on the invoice.

The valve most homes never think about is the pressure regulator. Street pressure across the South Bay varies with elevation, and a house low on a slope, common on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and the San Pedro hillsides, can see far more than its fixtures were built for. Banging pipes, toilets that run on their own and a relief valve dripping at the water heater are usually one failed valve, not three problems. Shutoff valves are the other quiet failure in older homes. The multi-turn stops under sinks and toilets in 1950s and 1960s houses across Gardena, Hawthorne and Carson have often not been turned in decades, and the first time anyone tries is usually the day a supply line bursts. Swapping them for quarter-turn stops is a small add-on to a fixture call, and the main house shutoff is worth testing at the same time, so you know it will close when it matters.

Low pressure at every tap is a different problem from low pressure at one. A single slow fixture is usually a clogged aerator or a failing cartridge; the whole house going weak together usually means the pipe itself. In the galvanized supply lines still under a lot of pre-1970 homes in Redondo Beach, Lomita and Inglewood, rust builds inward until the bore is a fraction of its size, and cleaning cannot bring it back. When that is what we find, the honest answer is a whole-house repipe rather than another round of repairs.

For contractors and remodelers: we handle rough-in plumbing for bathroom remodels, kitchen additions, ADU construction, and small commercial tenant improvements. We coordinate with the general contractor's schedule, rough in to code, call inspection, and return for trim-out when finishes are ready. We're not the cheapest quote you'll get on rough-in work, but we're the one that closes out cleanly on the first inspection and doesn't cause schedule slippage. That's worth more than the spread on most projects. New construction plumbing is part of the same work, from underground and rough-in through final.
